My local Mom & Pop Camera store let me root around in their freezer so I bought a Dozen each of.........

Pretty happy with that.

I love film. Film rocks.

I just developed a whole bunch of film from a personal project that i sat on for a year. In the interim I've been shooting an extended documentary project completely digital. In scanning my film, I was blown away by the beauty of film capture. Digital is quicker, easier, more resolute, sharper, clearer etc etc etc....but film is so much more beautiful.

Call me a clueless old guy, I don't care. I love film.

Treasure that PlusX ... I have about six rolls of that left in my freezer and I can't bring myself to use it! :D

That Plus-X is such nice stuff: sharp, but still has a nice grain, and can be easily enlarged. It's the bomb. Congrats!

Manny Nunez of Adorama just advised that my order of
100 each Acros 36-exp.
10 each 100ft HP5+ has been shipped.

Such things I can not find in Istanbul easily.

I bought a few dozen Ferrania Solaris ISO 100 rolls for € 1,-- each, because they expire this month. Good thing I am off to vacation on Sunday :)

Almost a fetish to buy old film and paper, it's an interesting gamble. I recently acquired more than 300 sheets of Agfa BROVIRA paper from... 1966 :D (stored cool and dark... or so I was told :)). And a 100ft roll of TriX from 1984 (expired 1986). Ooooh boy :)

Somewhat OT, but I returned yesterday from a month-long trip throughout Turkey. This was my 4th time there and I still love it!
Istanbul is always amazing with it's contemporary and historical energies in constant flow with each other.

Now I need to develop the 23 rolls of FP4+ I shot.

Come again! I could not finish the historical sites yet.. :)

BTW, did you buy the FP4s in Turkey?

Yeah, with over 5000 historical sites it'll take many lifetimes to accomplish such a task.

I bulk roll all my film.

Have you checked in Constantinople?

/Sorry, hard to pass up the opportunity for a corny They Might Be Giants joke.

:) They Might Be Giants are too young to be the original singers. I think it was Ella Fitzgerald record being the most popular one in my childhood (way back in the '50s)..

I had to go back today....And picked up Some Provia 100....of course.

I should be alright for a little while.

Maybe.

I bought 10 rolls of Provia 400, Potra 400, Fuji Pro160H and Tri-X. Winter here in NZ and need a little more speed. Fell back in love with Color film recently. My M6 + Rolleiflex are in the bag and the M9 has been sitting at home.
