Bought a Fuji F30

The low- light special digital P&S. Long after they were 1st introduced (and Fuji f....up the fine technology in the pixel wars), I finally bought a refurb' one for $200 here in Korea. I'm told they go for $300 in the US and enjoy a preverbial semi-cult status there. I can't wait to use it as my night companion to my RF gear.

I have an F20 that I picked up for US$140 new here in Taiwan. Same sensor and IQ as F30 but less manual control. The less desirable model, hence the lowered price.

Good for low light moments when I've passed my legal limit and can't manual anything anyway !

Fuji just announced the F100fd. Promises even greater DR and high ISO. But talk about pixel wars!!! with the pixel count at twice that of the F20/30/31 , it's hard to imagine there can't be a lot of noise! But we may see a bunch of earlier models flood the market...

Congrats Bill, it's a great little shooter, I carry mine nearly everywhere.
