Boxing night: the pictures

The other night I had the opportunity to attend some boxing fights.
I was able to record all what was happening that night. I would like
to present here just some of the pictures I took. I have arranged
them artificially as a single fight, but you can easily see that there
are several fights mixed. Maybe you find them interesting.

First, the fighters. This were the amateur ones.

Before the fight, all fighters are weighted and go though a medical
examination.

Just in case.

Preparing hands for the fight.

Ready!

The fight starts.

It is intense.

When the bell sings, they stop for a moment. The coach
gives him some advice.

Ready to go again.

The fight goes on.

The fight is over. One winner. One loser.

These are excellent. What equipment did you use?

Sean, I used a 35/2 asph and a 50/1.4 preasph in Leica M6 & MP.

Good pictures, indeed. How'd you get in on this?? You a regular around the ring??

they way to get in was by chance: someone I know has an acquaintance that
does boxing training in the gym that organized the evening. This someone knows
my photography passion-occupation, and hence she offered me to go with a press pass.

What I have found is the more you show you take pictures, the easier to take them
in all occasions.
