Fuji has stopped making NPH 400. (Sob!!) The have revamped their line of pro film. Fuji Superia X-Tra is good and available everywhere. I vote to let him choose between the FED 2 and the Zorki 4K.

I don't believe they've stopped making it, just retitled it Pro400. Same with NPZ 800. It's now Pro800.

The Fuji site seems to indicate that the new film is a new generation and not just renamed. My problem is that I used NPL (tungsten balanced) a lot and there is no replacement so I've switched to Kodak Professional Portra.

No one voting for the FED 3? I really like this camera - smooth and quiet and feels solidly built. Also, in a bad light it looks like an early M series Leica.

Well - the shorlisting has taken place and Anil has gone off with the FED 3. As a USSR rangefinder newbie, he found the handling and looks much to his liking. Also gave him 3 rolls of AGFA XRG 200 colour print film to play with. I am really looking forward to some great shots.

I hope it was a FED 3a and not that ugly duck 3b!

Er ... It was the B (according to Princelle). I forgot to mention that he's also going to Mexico and LA.

hey, they're only Zorkis
So your sinister mind altering was a success. Good for you."...he had a great time with the FED and wants his own one."
<sigh> I miss Mexico.
