I'm sure they've done their marketing homework and that most people will say "Don't buy the 24/f2.8, go for the 24-xyz zoom."
That leaves us wide prime lovers high and dry because N goes after the profits (who blames them?).
Just hurts to see other people doing APS cameras with some nice small wider lenses.
By years' end, I expect to swap out all this stuff for something mirrorless and get what I desire.
