Has anybody had experience with them?

I am selling my gears to them.

Their offer seems to be reasonable for my gears, but they want me to send my gears to them first BEFORE payment.

I am little afraid of sending my gears without payment, especially to overseas. (I am in the U.S. and they are in HongKong or China)

Could anybody please give me a thought about them?

I have sold them two pieces of gear in the past and they have always pay in advance.
When they are selling gear do they send it first and wait for payment after?

When I think of Breguet Cameras, I think of a very specific part of my anatomy. I am not fond of them, and I would never send them anything.
I would worry that they will call you and offer you a lot less money because your gear is not in the condition you stated. Then they'll have to pay to ship it back to yourself.

I would avoid them.

Exactly. That's what I am worrying about.. :(

I never sold anything to them but have bought two lenses from them so far.
They are active obviously in Hong Kong, China mainland and Japan.

I bought via eBay and was satisfied in both cases.

Generally, I would expect an evaluation of the items in question, based on photos and descriptions with a reserve to be paid ahead of shipping and a difference to be accounted after receiving of the goods and approval of both parties on a final deal.

This sounds like a fair procedure - shipping without any safety upfront, I would not.

Hmmm... KEH is to me. Or Adorama. Offers over sight-unseen gear can sound as promising as they want, but once they review it they backpedal in no time. Best of luck!

Sold them some items a few times, all were eBay sales. They could therefore see photos and my reputation, and of course they paid in advance. No issues.

I've seen quotes from keh.com and Adorama. They are low low low.

I think Breguet is offering more, because they are selling to a market that is in a higher price range, especially judging from their ebay sales.

But, I never got past the quoting stage with Breguet, so I can't comment on how the actual follow-through would go.
