Sanders-
The Leitz 5cm does have rough parallax correction marks, but I can see what your saying they would be a problem in close. I'm just really excited by being able to shoot with both eyes open and get a real sense of placing a frame around the elements I want in the shot yet being able to see more of the scene as well. It's really liberating for me, but I'm not as critical on tight framing either- my biggest problem has been being a little too far away from the subject, if anything. I just finished burning a roll with the brightline, i'll have to see if I cut off any heads with it!

Sanders,
If 90mm can serve your portraits, then an option is SGVOO, or the C/V equivalent. Both have inbuilt parallax correction, although you have to dial the distance manually.

The SBLOO isn't 1:0.7. This is what my Canon 7 has. The SBLOO has about 1:0.9, so it's possible to work with two eyes open. But my Canon P has 35mm frames, plus 1:1 view and visibilty of the BL is close to the SBLOO with my eyeglasses.
I don't have a C/V but a "Helios" BL finder (35/85/135), actually the 35 is more close to 50 and it's dimmer than the SBLOO. It was a lot cheaper as well BTW...
cheers,
