C'mon guys. A guy says it's better to receive a lens without glass then a lens with fungus. I just wanted to know why exactly is fungus that bad.
Some lenses are prone to develop fungus, and some others will just never develop fungus, even if you keep them together in a tight air locked bag for a few months. i know, I've done it with 2 enlarger lenses 10 years ago. Still today, the clean lens is still clean.
Jocko: I got rich in the mean time. Besides, you gotta admit the "who deserves a new voigtlander" competition was absoultely badly thought of, at first.
