I'm sure your camera insurance will cover any loss.I suspect people like me, carring lenses like this, are the real culprits.

eeep. Until I viewed the larger size... I was sure that confusion would abound at the airport. Truly, any trained eye could/should tell the differene between that, and a firearm.

this has gotten RIDICULOUS!! since they are not liable for loss of things that are checked, what are we supposed to do? either not take the camera...or risk getting our gear stolen with no recourse?! nice.

pretty soon, you'll have to ship your luggage in a separate, all luggage plane - also on this plane will go the clothes off your back, your shoes, all jewelry, watches, underwear, etc.

To do this, everyone will be shuffled into a large changing room (sexed) where you'll be strip searched and will hand all your personal belongings, all that can be removed from your body, to a guard. You will then be given a light blue robe with a number on the back. This you will wear until you land at your destination, there you will be reunited with your items. At no time during the flight will you be within a mile of your things. All in-flight snacks will have been banned since some terrorist had managed a way to smuggle plastic explosives into the Tofu pasta meal via a friend in the food service.

Soon after, we will all be given parachutes before boarding (to wear over our blue robes, and we'll just have to tough out the occasional firey fall from the sky as people begin implanting undetectable bombs in their heads and abdomens.

Just move somewhere you want to be and stay there.
