I was over in the Guangzhou, China, used camera market browsing the shops when I ran into a contrax iiia with a 2500 rmb (a wee over 300 dollars) price tag that can be bargained down a ways probably and in very much mint condition. Jackpot I though, it had the 50 1.5 sonnar on it too. Very clean looking camera, looked like it had never been used. Got the lady to take it out of the case, I gave it a once over, pulled the lens cap off the lens and....russian writing :bang:
Oh my goodness how disapointed I was....but in retrospect maybe it was a good thing because I have so many cameras that my cat left me.
