Hi all!
anybody here who used the RF 4,5/135 in combination with the newer camera-model which has the finder/frames for the RF 4,5/100 lens? Brings the 135 also the frames for 100 or 65 or none of them?
I know about problems with adjusting the 135 to finder alignment and therefore later the 100 lens was sold instead of the rare 135, frames in the finder so were needed to be changed.
Photos made with the RF 4,5/135 are also welcome here. I have never seen such.
Regards

bronica rf 135mm
bronica rf 135mm
Hello Cron,
I have the 135 mm and the 100 mm as well. I use two Bronicas, one with 100 frame an one with 135 frame and so it is for me no problem.
To answer your question: With the 135 at the 100 frame camera you will get the 100 frame. I have checked this today again.
I think the 100er is the better lens, but of course the 135er is more like a light tele and so I use it for slides. I don't know if the scanned pictures can show this really but I will attach some samples of the 135,you have asked for.

Hi!
thanks, these are the first pics made with the 4,5/135 I see!
also thank you for trying the lens with 100-frames, as I only have suche a camera but looking forward to get a 135 in near future. I'm interested if alignment is really necessary for this combination
kind regards

Hi,
I would say it depends. When I got my 135 it was with the warning that a special alignment could be necessary. So I made a couple of shots aperture wide open to check if there are problems with my Bronica. I found the slides sharp at the point where they had to be. So I didn't search for a special alignment.

Though it's not a response to the question, readers might be interested to know that Ffordes photographic (www.ffordes.co.uk) currently has a 135mm for sale. The price is rather painful though at £699.

Hi Paolo,
I never made a direct comparison but I used both leneses wide open and my feeling was as well a better bokeh with the 100er. But it is interesting for me as well and I hope I can soon make two nearly identical pictures with both lenses. Maybe I shall post these in a week.

Yesterday I got my RF 4,5/135 and took some pictures, most of them wide open. As my RF645 is a newer model I used 100-frames in the finder but with my experience what a 80mm lens will do this worked great for me.
Last hour I got the developed film. Sharp pictures, where they should be sharp, no adjustment body-lens necessary.
Thanks again to Rainer

Hi Paolo,
unfortunately this is no perfect comparison: the subject is not ideal and there are two different films: negative for 100 and positive for 135. Maybe I can do it better somedays.
The first picture ist the 100er with CN film
The second picture ist the 135 with CR film
