hi,

I've just bought a Bronica rf645. And would like to find a rubber eyepiece of similar size & shape to that on the 45mm finder.

I've had a look on Adorama, B&H, KEH & Robertwhite, without success. Even google & ebay failed to find me one.

Do they exist?
& if so does anyone know where I can buy one?

thanks
david

I don't have my notes handy, and I am on the road, but I know it is the same as a Nikon SLR rubber eyepiece surround. What I do have at the moment is an odd link I stubbled upon, with a Nikon right angle viewer attached to an RF645.

Since that works, you would need to figure out which Nikon that fits, and one of those should lead you to a rubber eyepiece. There may be a slight amount of trimming to fit, though a little skill with an Xacto should solve that. Perhaps someone else can chime in with a part number or better.

Finally at my office, so I can look this up. Supposedly the Nikon DK-21 is a close match, though that is based upon fitting of the Nikon angle viewer. The DK-21 is thicker on the eye side than the original Bronica part. So far I am not in need of a replacement, but I have this in my notes as an alternative. There may be some fitting adjustment required.

with the help of the best photo shop in town, I've figured out what Nikon bits will fit, now I've got to find one of them. They're strangely out of stock at the moment.

Also looking for RF 645 eyecup replacement. Tried the DK-21 but looks like will require major shaving to get it to slide in. Is the DK-21 the right one or is there another Nikon eyecup that might fit better?
