Bronica RF645 up for sale on ebay

With all due respect, please don't write another word that will embarrass yourself or other readers.

Nice try - remarks like that wont help you prove your point. And really - why dont you email CQ and ask SG what he thinks about ebay posts here? That should clear this up, shouldn't it?

It has nothing to do with morality or unwritten rules ro such.
There is a classifieds section where we are suppose to advertise our **** for a small fee.
This is a written, clear rule.
Newcomers might not know this, well, they should maybe check the general rules of the forum before doing stuff. Just because it's a friendly collection of people with similar interest, does not mean we are all free to advertise our e-bay auctions.

Think about it like this: How many e-bay auctions are posted per day on the topics of photography? six hundred? over a thousand?
Do you want to see ALL of them being advertised on this forum?
So why do you think you are special and allowed to do it if the rest are not?

It's that simple.

Or compare it with a real life situation. You go to a basketball training first time in your life and after entering the hall you shout" Yo i have a pair of Nikes i am trying to sell on the Bay. You are all welcome to bid." Is it nice to do it?

Otherwise, as said by Chris already: your presence is of course welcome.

Wow, and here I was thinking this thread had something to do with a Bronica RF645! Seriously, I think Chris was correct in emphasizing the issue, although I wouldn't have employed the term 'dude", and I also feel that the "issue" was worked out to everyones satisfaction, including said dude, until someone went and got all righteous. So, how about we get back to something remotely related to the Bronica.

In a effort to clear the air and not proliferating discontent among RFF members.

As I mentioned, my auction post was not intended to spam or disrespect anyone on the forum. I confess of being oblivious to the notion and in retrospect could have do my research before posting. But I hope you can empathize with my situation when I say that a quick personal message to me about the content of my post would have sufficed.

What I'll do is pull my original post (if possible) and we can all just get on with it.

Thanks to all members who have posted for or against the topic at hand. Y'all are a bunch of firecrackers and I look forward to hearing your thoughts and discussing with you in the future.

I'll take a round for the house... Cheers! :)

Corey

Leica... when I can afford it. Come to think of it, Leica when I can't afford it. It's a vicious cycle. So now I may be in the market for a Bessa.
