Hi folks,

I will be exhibiting and selling my photos at Blue Sky Bakery in Park Slope, Brooklyn, New York over the next couple of months. We will have an opening from 5-8PM on Tuesday, December 7. In the meantime, the photos are on the wall and ready to be seen.

The name of the show is my favorite question that my two-year-old son poses all the time. He points to something, or picks something up, and looks up to us and says “what this is?” I think that’s what I’m doing when I take a photograph.

All the photographs are printed with archival inks (true gray and black inks for the black and white prints) on archival paper.

I never expected replies - thanks!
Aperture64, I did not approach them. I have a friend who used to work there and is close with the owners. It helps that my wife goes there every morning. My previous show was also an invitation due to an old acquaintance getting in a position where she managed a library gallery. What it's taught me is that it's really important to talk to people about what I do (or to use a more annoying term, "network,") and show off my work.
That all said, they don't actively recruit artists for their walls, and I imagine there are a lot of businesses like that. They love having art up because it's interesting to their customers. I would put together a small album of your work and walk in to your neighborhood coffee shop/wine bar/deli and give it a go.
