bug report?

Not sure where I should post this question/observation. So, I will try putting it here I guess.

Has anyone else noticed that, or know why, certain photos get uploaded to the gallery multiple times? It happens to me regularly. Several of my shots show up with the same photo uploaded three times, when I know I only hit the upload button once. Even stranger is that the picture only shows up in "My Gallery" once, so there's no way for me to delete the extra versions. In quickly going through the Gallery, I see this happens to some other people as well (yzblog being one), and some of us it happens to regularly it seems.

I don't know if it's related to OS/browser or a forum bug ... In any case, on the off-chance it's useful for trouble-shooting purposes, I'll state up front that I use a Mac (OS X 10.5.2 Leopard) and Safari 3.1.1 as my main browser.

Ahhh, is that what it is?

I may indeed have selected sub-categories for some of my shots. I guess I just assumed it would only show up once in the main gallery regardless.

I suspect you're right...thanks again! I would never have guessed that would be the cause.

you need to upload a photo once to your gallery and then add it to other categories if you like. then it shows and counts as one upload.

Thanks back_alley -- that's how I'll do it from now on. (Thanks for moving the thread too -- my eyes seem to be glazing over and completely missed the "feedback" forum! Ooops!)
