Does anyone have any advice to impart on a fairly technologically challenged person wanting to build a fairly basic yet elegant folio site? Budget is limited, so probably doing it myself unless I can think of any favours I can call in with some friends. I want it to be HTML so its searchable, apart from that I have little idea about anything. Is there any sort of drag and drop site building applications?

Uber is a photo/web building site which links from here. It's drag & drop but it's pretty basic looking. You can really go creative if one knows html. I don't & thats why I quit Uber. I got frustrated & gave up. Plus it has turned into a myspace for photographers. It is totally free if you wish to check it out.
