Hi all.
My mate wants to build a new website, his is old and takes a PHD in everything to update.
He is not a coder, he doesn't want to spend ages faffing. He wants a nice template which shows off his pictures well, nothing too fancy, think 'Apple Design' but not iWeb.
It has to be independent, so not Flickr. What do you lot use, if anything?
He uses Mac.

If by "independent" you mean hosted a rent-a-server on its own domain, then, yeah, you're probably gonna build it for him.
You might want to look at a popular blogging platform, e.g., WordPress, wrapped around one of the open source photoblog packages that are out there.
