While in the mood here are some taken in Budapest in 1998 with a Nikon 801s and a Nikkor 28-85mm f3.5-4.5 AF lens. Shot on Ilford XP 2 if my memory serves me correct. Heaps of character in evidence in Budapest. A lovely city.

North Dome of the Lick Observatory, currently threatened by the enormous SCU Lightning Complex Fires. Firefighters were able to save the historic and still currently operational domes and telescopes, but the threat is not over, as the wildfire is still only about 10% contained. In just over a week, the SCU Lightning Complex has grown to be the third largest wildfire in California history, with nearly 350,000 acres burned and counting...

^ Nice shot, MJ Buckpitt, in particular I'm glad there are some people in the picture to give perspective to the size of the building. Thanks for sharing.

All the best,
Mike
