Several years ago (more like 20 years ago) my wife and I stayed at the Hotel Whitcomb for a few days. As I recall the Hotel Whitcomb is very close to City Hall. It seems to me that Hotel would be a great building to photograph for this thread. Hint, hint!

Thank you, @Yokosuka_Mike! I took the photo from Davies Symphony Hall, which is kitty-corner to City Hall. I hadn't heard of the hotel, but I saw on Google Maps that it's still there, just a few blocks away.
