The take-up spool on my Bessa L slips through as I pull the winding lever.
To be more precise, when film is not in the camera and the winding lever is pulled the take-up spool turns as it should, but when pressure is applied to it, in the form of film or a finger, it begins to slip 3/4 of the way through a winding cycle. Although the film advance guide still pulls the film along, it is no longer wound around the take-up spool and just bunches up.
I took the bottom plate off and there is a screw visible that looks as if it is used to hold the take-up spindle, but it is also fixed in position with glue.
Anyone know how to fix this?
