Well at any rate the lensnumber is not in the official Leica data-base. I smell a fish - and not too fresh.

Well, if you put the lens serial # into the official leica database it returns this information:

Isn't this how the item is listed (except that it is not an ASPH)?

Still An ASPH summilux with the S/N of a non ASPH one smells a bit fishy.

I think it's a legit listing from a camera user who is not RFF saavy and doesn't therefore know everything.

Sometimes I wonder if these threads are intended to "scare off" the competition? 😀

It didn't with me, maybe I made a typo? the fish is getting fresher....
