Buying a camera as an investment

It depends on what you define as an investment, over what time period and how much you anticipate making.

My take on how to buy a camera as an investment is to:

Buy mint, buy cheap, sell at the right time.

Simple!

I wouldn't object to buying a vintage non automatic toaster: the kind you had to turn the toast on yourself. My grandparents had one and it was old in the 1970s. Well, it seemed old. There is no chance of one passing modern safety regulations. It probably didnt back then either!
