Buying a M3 from KEH?

What seemed to work was giving them the serial number range in which I was interested and encouraging them to take their time - it took two days for them to call me back if I recall correctly.

Thanks Ken, I will try it next time. I hope there are still some nice ds left in their warehouse.
 
fbf, I'd suggest you pm Ken to find out who he spoke to at KEH. The rep I spoke to clearly didn't know as much about Leicas as the one he spoke to. I won't repeat the story here; I'd guess from one of your comments you've already read it. It wasn't good.
 
I am getting GAS for another M3 from all this KEH talk here. If I hadn't already exceeded what I should be spending on cameras and lenses, I would be getting a nice users M3 so that I keep a mint M3 for my kids.
 
I think KEH is great overall, but man, they have a very cranky lady working in sales these days. For some reason both I and some of my friends keep getting her on the line every time. 🙂
