Buying a vented lens hood: tilted or not ?

I've got the 43mm version of the tilted one for my 35/2.8 Biogon-C. Fits & works perfectly. Something like $7 postpaid from that auction site.

I really don't think you'll have a problem with the conical hood. I would get that one, as long as it's the right thread. The one you showed is marked 40.5mm. That would work on a 40mm Rokkor, but is it right for your FSU lens?

My Konica M-Hex 28mm f/2.8 came with a "slanted" hood, as well as "adjustable" vents. Seems to make sense for an RF, at least to me.
