Hello!
Now, I am located in dubai, I am searching online store to buy Film Developers (rodinal, Ilford DDX and so on) Would be cool if same store would have black and white films too like Neopan and Tri-x, also I want some recomendations what developer to use! I am very interested in Tri-x and I want from you specific recomendation for this lovely film (I mean developer) 🙂
Anyhow! thank you in advance!

Kodak HC110 is a liquid concentrate and pretty good. D76 is a powder and the classic match for TriX. I use DDX with good results. Mostly I use Diafine if you want to try a one stop bath, you shoot TriX at 1250 if you are going to use Diafine.

Almost any developer works well with TriX.

I ready a statement once, every developer is optimized to work with TriX and every film is optimized to work with D76. I don't know if it is true, but TriX and D76 are the basic standards for b&W film and developers.

I would stick with a liquid concentrate so you don't have to mix a stock solution. If you are not going to do a lot of processing then shelf life of the solution is an issue and the concentrates, DDX and HC110 amoungst others last the longest.

Thanks alot for advice, I have just started developing film, and my local store only has Ilfosol and I am using that 🙂 I will try to order all developers you have listed and try one by one 🙂 I am also very interested in rollei 25 iso film, anyone from our community tested this film?
Again thanks alot!

Ilfosol is good, however it has a very short life span. Tri-X will look great in any developer, however my favorite is Ilford ID-11 (in a powder), Ilfotec HC (liquid concentrate, lasts forever) and Ilford Microphen (will give a little extra film speed, upping contrast a little bit.)
