Buying in Japan from USA - need help

Just wanted to let you know :

1. They do speak english there at this store. But If I'm not mistaken - only take bank transfers.

2. If you were after Hex 60/1.2 for cheap 😉 - all the items they have with RED written across the pic are long gone - sold.

Very nice for teaching yourself Japanese script though. I can't read Japanese, but with the help of Wikipedia I get:

へクトール = hekutōru = Hektor
ズミルックス = zumirutukusu = Summilux
ズマレックス = zumaretukusu = Summarex
アポズミクロン = abozumikuron = APO-Summicron

Did I get those right? 🙂
And why is there an extra ッ "tu" in the Summilux and Summarex names? Shouldn't ズミルクス spell "Summilux" as well?

This tu/zu is used to show the minimal break before the doubled consonant.
without: Su-mi-lux
with: Su-'mmi-lux

ッ is not "tu" its "tsu". In this case its a small "tsu" which means its silent and a missed beat. When written in Romaji this appears as a double consonant, eg "chotto matte" the first "t" in each case here is a missed beat and would be written with the small ッ(well actually in hiragana rather than katakana but Im too lazy to bring up the Japanese text) 😀
