just found this great thread in Chinese regards Cine C-mount lens on Micro 4/3 system. It's in Chinese, but I'm sure you can read it through Google translate.

A standard 16mm frame is only 7X10mm. That's what C mount lenses are designed to cover.

It will depend on the lens's coverarge. Some may cover more than the actual dimensions of the cine frame.

G1'ers are ahead of the E-P1 curve on this type of research. There's a Google spreadsheet with some findings here:

Lots of c-mount related threads at getdpi.com.
There are a good number of c-mount lenses that cover the micro 4/3s, some with extremely nice rendering and character.

for most of C-mount lens, 25mm fl and up will cover the micro sensor nicely.
The trouble is to find a cheap fast 25mm, that's the headache. Ebay is out of question, therefore I will hunt for local newpapers and garage sales from now. The thought of an 25mm .95 <.5m close focus is very sweet.
