Just got off the phone with Walmart/Fuji and asked them how much to process a roll of 120 color negative film and provide prints. The girl looked it up and said:

C41 Process a 120 roll film = 0.84 each roll.
3"x3" print = 0.06 each print

WOW!

It is a 2 week turn-around and you have to go to Walmart and put your film into one of their envelopes and check special processing instructions, etc... but the prices she quoted me are unbelievable.

Will have to send them a roll to find out the truth!

Is it at all Walmarts or the one near you? And will they process any C41 or just Fuji?

This surely is a great deal.

You can do it at all Walmarts. Just don't ask the "help" for help! lol

They will do any C-41. Prices seem to vary from time to time, though. At least that has been my experience.

220 is the same price. Write Develop Only in the special instructions on the envelope. Otherwise, you will get prints also. I have posted this here at RFF on several occasions. It's good to bump it back up to the top for rookies.

ps: It is the truth. Trust us. We've been doing it for years. You can also send E-6 film, 35mm or medium format, in the same envelopes. The price is higher.

Hmm, they charged me more than that. I think it was around $2.80. And I'm pretty sure that my C-41 did not go to Fuji. I do know that my E-6 sent by WalMart to Fuji was $4.88.

EDIT: These were all 120.

How many "It's true" claims from me do y'all need? It was true in mid-October when I turned in a roll of Ektar 25 from the Pentax 6x7. Although I think the price was closer to $0.88/roll. With tax it was $0.9something.

Prices vary by location and you can't trust what you are told. I have been charged various amounts and calling was next to useless. Last time through it was made clear to me that prints must be ordered with processing. Anyway, I just do C41 at home. I got tired of the run-around.

Prints are required with 35mm film. For the time being, IN TEXAS, we can get 120 AND/OR 220 processed for under a buck. Come on down!

Picked up 5 rolls of C-41 120 from Mall-Wart this morning.
It was 4.20$ (no tax here). They did prints, although I had written "Development only", did not charge me.

Have been using walmart for 120/220 non B&W development for over 5 years, never had anything gone missing. They send to Fuji/Dwayne d/o process.

The ever changing people at the counter know me and help to write "development only" on the envelopes 🙂

Hi Wayne, you mentioned Texas. Last time I dropped a roll of 120 C-41 at the Valley Ranch Walmart (around Irving area), they almost charged me $12 with prints. I was told prints are a must and the development is almost $8. Any tips on what I did wrong?

C41 or E6 is free from Precision for RFF members when accompanied with an order for ultra hi-res scans.

We use the same equipment as NCPS, and customers have been very pleased.

Order here.
