pushed this roll of cinestill 800 to 3200. got some weird 'cloudy' artifact along upper and lower regions of images. seems to affect entire roll, but not so noticeable in brighter images. didn't affect the roll of agfa vista 200 and 120 portra 400 also in the same developing batch.

this is the second time I've seen this.

It must have something to do with the process that cinestill uses to remove the remjet coating.

Maybe don't push it so far next time? Might be worth sending over to cinestill.

Not sure this is the same, but it may be. I recently shot a roll of CineStill 50 and noticed a “mottling” in the blue sky of one pic (attached). The colors are beautiful, but if you look a the sky, you see a light and dark splotchy pattern. I agree with Blkrcat that it’s probably due to how the remove the rem-jet coating.

maybe i didn't push enough? cinestill website says to push 3x for 3200, not 2x. i pushed 2x.

on edit: oh, blix is too low in my tank so it didn't cover the negative. i do remember this roll coming out first.
