Set up my first “home darkroom” with a $50 craigslist cadet II and I’m finding it is much less capable than the beseler 45 I’m used to. When burning or dodging I get smudging of the image and when I use filters my images come up blank. I know it’s probably just a crap shoot enlarger but is there any good tips for polishing this turd while I save for a good enlarger?
