get you a new toy ???????????
Nah, I had this one for quite a while.
Bought the kit for the lens, which strangely came attached to a non-Technika lens board that won't fit the Wista.

I have had good results from the caffenol@blogspot recipes with a variety of films, including C-41, especially the chromogenic B&W films. This enables the IR dust removal systems on the scanners, BTW. The Arista Edu films in 35 and 120 work well with this. I think they are rebadged Fomapan, is this correct? I use the Folgers crystals in all my developing.

Encouraging shots....

Respect is not the problem... Time is. But that's changing. Your images are quite nice. You've shown me "tint" is controllable, or not an issue.
I've gathered all the stuff together, and as soon as I complete a move in about two weeks plan to proceed. Thanks for your indicator on the recipe.
I've been talking with a local coffee house (NOT Sbucks). He posts images from local artists on his walls... all kinds of flat work, including photography.
I'm thinking about doing some processing, and also using Caffenol to enlarge and wet print.
I talked with him about Caffenol and he got excited. I am thinking about a series of images with a series name someting along the line of "Coffetime Images". He wants to see them... perhaps hang them.

I take it Caffenol gets no respect around here. Seems to work pretty good.![]()

Some think not...

Well, there are a lot of conspiracy theorists who think we did not, and the actuall moon landing was staged on a set, perhaps in Hollywood... maybe somewhere else.
I'm thinking it would be a hoot if that were discovered and it turned out that US moon landings were actually staged on sets otherwise used by Vivid Video for Pornographic movies.
Otherwise, in answer to your question, if we really did go to the moon, I suspect there were continuous 24/7 course corrections along the way. Massive computer systems were constantly doing calculations that can be done today with a second generation i-Pad.
If we did in fact go to the moon and if we had used the Metric System, we would probably now have a thriving colony on the moon, ready to revolt. There would probably be a revolt brewing that consisted of hurling all the "tea" in the US moon colony millions of meters into space.

How did you Americans get to the moon with this foot-pount-per-quare-inch-and-a-teaspoon-of-a-quarter-inch-gallon stuff?![]()
