I just received a very nice looking Quantum Calcu-light CP and all looks good, except for one thing.
When I take a reading the digits always flash. Readings seem accurate enough, but this not consistent with my older standard Calcu-light. I tried the same batteries in both, with the same behavior.
Does anyone have any insights or experience to offer?

Thanks - when I press the memory button, it doesn't flash! Only as I take a reading.

No worries, the number flashes when you take the reading, and is steady when you press the memory button. Cracking meter, especially in low light.

Thanks Peter - I guess it is ok then!
I was just suspicious that the other model works differently.
BTW, am I correct in assuming that there is no way to adjust or re-calibrate this meter?

To be honest I don't know - mine is pretty accurate so I've never tried to find out. I'm sure there are people who service them though, at least I hope so...
