Cambridge UK Rff and chemical store

Looks like I'm definitely on as well, although I may have to grab a couple of mobile numbers and make contact with you all a bit later in the day. Apparently an RFF meetup is a poor excuse for missing Sunday lunch....

Just as a point of order the Starbucks is on Market Street, just round the corner from Campkins. It's right on the main market square so impossible to miss. I'll be the bald one with the M9, unless I break out the Rolleicord.

steve pm me you can get my number and contact once you are ready to join.
i'm up for early shooting if anyone is a bit early than noon. i will be the asian guy with a plain jane M6 and black jacket. i can meet in front of that starbucks for some early shooting then come back there for a coffee break.

Looks like we could be heading for a two-session meet up - Simon/Vinh and anyone else who can make it earlier shall we aim to meet at say 10.00 and circle back at 12 to meet up with those who want to come along later? I may need to head home at about 1.00 so that would work better for me.

Looking forward to it!

Looks like I won't get to Madingley Road park and ride until 12 at the earliest, so may be one ish before I find people - so will definitely need a contact number (and will no doubt appear two minutes after Steve vanishes!).

Great to meet you all this morning - sorry I had to make a sharp exit at lunchtime, hope everyone enjoyed the rest of the day.

My favourite three shots from the day below. Will log on in about a month to see what you film guys managed :D

love the mood in the last one Steve. Nice to meet you all.
quite a surprisingly sunny day considering the crappy morning weather (8-9am).

Cheeky blighter!:p I still have half a film unfinished from March... and it's 6x9! Perhaps I'm not the world's fastest film finisher...

I had a thoroughly good afternoon, it was a pleasure to meet everyone (even if you were all rude about Essex), and we definite;y ought to do that sort of thing again!

It was good to meet you all yesterday, I never imagined there were quite so many of us tucked away in the corner here.

Steve - did you see the writing on the bag before photographing? That and the oomphy-contrast is right up my street. I agree with Vinh regarding your window shot too, though I'm trying to think where that may have been taken.

I spent more time chatting than snapping but the three half-respectable shots I took all afternoon appear to have windows as a common subconscious theme.

Vinh - thanks for the links you sent me via PM. I'll have to see if I can find a copy of Pentti's book in the library and I've already checked out John's website which has some interesting stuff that I'll look at in greater detail soon.

I look forward to seeing what everyone else got.

Great shots - knew I should have joined the queue to photograph the bulldog but you guys had it covered! Love the bottom one as well, really well done. I hadn't seen the wording on the bag until you pointed it out!

Love the last one simon. Show your composition prowess :) i def spent more time chatting/looking more than tripping the shutter. Thanks everyone for showing me around! Def see more of it more than the whole month i have been here.

Some great photos here. My photos are in the lab as we speak. I'll try to post a couple next week when I collect the negs.

It was great to meet one and all. I'm always up for a bit of a wander with a camera if anyone wants to repeat the dose. East Anglia is somewhere I live but haven't explored in great detail, so I'm also grateful for any tips when it comes to intereting places to shoot.

Regards,

Paul.
