So, the family is going to the circus tonight - Circ du Sole. No video, flash photography etc allowed, but I'd like to take a few snaps. Most of my cameras have B+W film in, and I want to take colour, thinking that it will be a colourful show. Manual focus and manual exposure is necessary/easiest for spotlighted stage stuff. I settled on taking a Rollei T. Wish me luck!

Just got back. It was a great show! There were indeed clowns/performers running through the crowds. The show was staged in a large tent that was still small enough to give an intimate feel. The 40mm lens was sufficient to capture the scene/action. I prefocused the camera between 20ft and infinity on the scale, 1/60sec at f3.5. I'll post some pics in a few days.

gb, with everything preset and by waiting for the "decisive moment", the camera is only up to my eye for a brief moment for each exposure.
