Hello
I'm looking for new camera for making photos in Zoo.
I don't have any preferences - Nikon, Canon or other brands.
It should be good in low light without flash, has good zoom telephoto lens, and good macro lens.
Budget - I don't know it yet but I think that in low side.
Weight doesn't matter. Photos quality good for printing size about A0.
Thanks and all the best in New Year 🙂.

Dear zozur,

You're probably better off asking this question in a forum that caters more to DSLR and nature/wildlife photographers, and waiting until you've got a better idea of your budget.

Any APS-C or micro 4/3 DSLR which offers image stabilisation and a zoom lens that goes long enough, and has 20+ megapixels should do the trick. Some of the modern 'bridge' cameras might do it even cheaper e.g. Sony RX10 but I doubt a 1" sensor can produce a clean A0 print. Maybe in very good light at base ISO. And that's all the advice I can give you.

Suggest you look at second hand gear from KEH if you're on a tight budget.

Remember A0 prints require a lot of wall space.

Good luck with your zoo pictures!

cheers,
