Camera Insurance, UK

Hi Folks,

Not sure if this is the most appropriate forum, but I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a good UK insurer for camera gear.

I'll need worldwide pro-use cover, but I only need it for a specified list of new gear (I've got lots of old stuff that I carry round as well, but I'll take the risk on that myself for now - I'm in a bit of a rush and I don't want to complicate things with a mix of new-for-old and 2nd-hand replacement, so I can maybe sort out something more comprehensive later). The total value of gear to be covered, at least in the short term, will be around £3,500.

Any help would be most appreciated.

It's probably best to telephone them and let one of their specialists tailor a policy to your requirements.

From my experience, they are are very competitive price wise and are recommended by the professional photographic association I belong to - and others!
