While I would agree based on my own ebay selling experiences that high "watching" doesnt always equate to highest sale - however, it does indicate what cameras/lenses people have some level of interest in. That interest doesnt always need to be about a high sales price. I use ebay to study items, identify model differences, be able to visually identify camera models as opposed to relying on sellers for proper identification. So, I frequently watch things to study, not to buy. This is also how I track sales for my Camera and Lens Price Guides at the botttom of this page:

So, I think most watched does indicate high levels of "interest." Defining, exactly, why there is so much interest is another story...

A few of you have asked how to search the "most watched" and at this point, its a "trade secret."

I like seeing what items have so much interest...also useful to notice the auction titles and how they attract attention....
