Camera/Photography related dreams?

Its been a weird couple of months for me, ive had a lot of strange dreams about taking photos or using Leica's. Now I know im going crazy and my mind will soon be oozing out my ear but I wonder if anyone else out there has ever had one of those strange dreams where you have horrid GAS over some camera or lens or just find yourself dreaming of shooting photos, browsing camera stores, etc 😛 Anyone care to share?😀

A recent one of mine involved me out somewhere taking photos with a black leica but for some reason I kept winding the advance and firing the shutter for no reason while I held it in front of me. Weird...

Ever since I bought my first rangefinder I've been having the occasional dream of getting images to align correctly. As in I'll have similar dreams as usual but I'll have to line the people/objects up to see them properly.
Hopefully it's not the first sign of madness.

I keep dreaming that I own that LHSA M6 in the classifieds but my wife keeps waking me up. Does that count?

yup it sure does.

I remember that once I had another dream where I was going though a old junk shop and came upon a really funky looking m7 that had squared edges and a square leica red dot, and weirdest of all I remember that the thing was orange...

last month i had a dream that I was holding an old very interesting looking russian SLR camera and the inscription on it said... FED 2.

sometimes I also have dreams of capturing some amazing compositions. At least as good as the ones from HCB 🙂

we are a crazy bunch, thats for sure.

For me ... I have had dreams of shoots or at least shooting where crazy things can happen

Like of being discovered by some camera company rep who loves my work so much the camera company decides that I need free gear

OR being an equipment testing agent... they send me off on exotic expeditions or possibly just to Paris where I get to test their best new low light lens

although some can be frustrating of things like seeing the perfect shot, I have my camera out and ready... but something stupid happens like I forget my lense or I accidentally drop the camera on its film door not allowing to get my favorite moment back out of the camera without destroying it

these dreams don't happen everynight... but I can tell you whe the bad ones happen because my jaw is sore from the grinding

I have a dream - often - that an elderly family member found a small collection of mint condition classic cameras (Leicas included) in the attic of their old house. This stems from a story they have told me before about the Leica M3 that someone had but lost some decades ago. It is somewhere in the family mass of clutter. Somewhere in the USA.

Well. Since you asked...

I dreamed last night about a sprawling complex in New Zealand, where a kind of meetup was being held. I only realised thet it was an RFF meetup when I overheard someone say: "Well, at least we'll recognise Joe Friday with his blond hair and his glasses.."

damnit, I had a dream last night taht I was in a hotel where there was a couple of camera stores in different floors, one of them was full of filters and this other one has a bunch of old screwmount leicas but they all had mold and corrision all over them, then there was this one play that had a m3 but the film advance looked like it had been eaten off to a sliver

To take one nice photo of my wife before I die.She closes her eyes,looks away,doesn't smile etc..........This isn't just a rangefinder dream It's all forms of photography.

And I thought I was weird for having rf dreams 🙂 Just last night, I dreamt that my new old 135/3.5 Canon lens somehow "grew" to about 8-in diameter on the front element all without obscuring the viewfinder even a bit. I was, of course, shooting in near-total darkness, obviously with stellar results.
