Well, I developed and scanned a roll of TMax 400 I took yesterday at the camera show/swap meet. Well, neither of the terms describes the event correctly. It happens once a month, and it's a sale of old stuff - mostly always the same faces and the same stuff being sold, waiting for the unwary newbie
Anyway, I used my Kiev 4A and Jupiter 12 I "repaired" a few days ago. Looks like the J12 will need some more tweaking - perhaps another very thin paper shim...

And, afterwards, some coffee, and admiring a new purchase - my friend bought a Yashica Lynx 14e for about $50. I took it home to clean the VF/RF glass, since it was rather dim.
Could have been a nice "Camera and coffee" shot, if it were not for a stupid mistake - my finger got in the way in the lower right corner
Can't beleive I was so stupid!
The J12 is rather "shallow", and you obviously have to take care when focusing with the lens focus ring - otherwise you get results like the one in the attached "camera and coffee" shot. Focusing with the focus wheel is a bit difficult, unlike with the J8, so I usually use the lens focus ring.... I'll have to be more careful, though - this was not the only ruined "finger" shot on this roll

And here's the beast... A nice Kiev 4a with a Corona finder (50-135 mm bright lines). When I use it without my glasses on, I can see an approximate 35mm lens wiev...

Hm, another thing about my Kiev 4A. I don't know why people are so crazy about Luigi cases... The one I got with this Kiev is great! Looks good, too
I just modified it so that I can take off the top part of the case - as per instructions on Matt Denton's pages - now I have a removable top part, which I take off when shooting.
