For who is interested in the social aspect of photography, and for the work some people can make to help other people I suggest to look Ashley Gilbertson work done. Slideshow is here, please have the speaker on because voices are important (unfortunately being english not my native language I only understan a part of it, but worthwhile).

Oooh, did I like that. The stark quality of the north really appeals to me. But I am a Norseman myself.

if you haven't seen it yet, you owe it to yourself to look at Matt Eich's Carry Me Ohio

Interesting portraits of known (and unknown) people in the gallery of Gabriele Rigon site, for my taste images are "too clean", but this is just my taste. Maybe due to the fact I'm not able to make so clean images with such a perfect lighting!

I'm never been to Naple but what I have seen in the kubadaborwski's blog really is how I imagine that city ! Thanks for the link.

The "Carry Me Ohio" series is brilliant! I keep coming back to images 9 and 12. Really great stuff.

There are many interesting photographers displayed in burn magazine, if you appreciated "Carry me Ohio" from Matt Eich you will probably appreciate Sakhalin 2008 from Michael Cristopher Brown.

PS: beside RFF Burn magazine is the place where I spend a lot of time...good pictures and some interesting comments, of course not always.
