To celebrate image-makers and to highlight the beauty and style of the camera

To raise the profile of emerging photographers, while also providing an intimate glimpse of he workspaces and trade tools of the masters.

Short video interviews about interesting photographers

It is nice to see into the reality of others that take images obsessively.

Indeed. For me it seems as if they are too addicted to their image taking process too really care about what the camera is. As long as it takes images it is doing its job. I like that.

I dunno. They SAY things like that, but then you see them with 8 different cameras, and they have names on 'em like Contax, Canon, Hasselblad, Pentax67 and Mamiya RZ. It's easy to say the camera doesn't matter when you're already using the top of the line, industry standard.

On one hand, you can say that they don't obsess over 'tech.' On the other hand, you could say that they're tech-ignorant in certain respects. Magdalena, for example - not realizing she would have to re-scan all her work because she only had 72dpi JPGs.... What makes these people good is that they are involved in the lifestyle and the moment, and not the discussion about the gear.

Nice link —*thank you. Hope to see more. Can we suggest people to profile?

Love the interviews, and thanks for sharing the link.

I always find reading interviews with photographers, and discerning peoples different ways of working quite interesting, and often enlightening.

As mentioned, I hope there is more content to come on an ongoing basis, and will definitely be checking in from time to time.
