Thanks! It still has a roll of film in it from 3 years ago. Unfortunately I can't remember what ISO speed it was.Loving that Nikon S…😇
Indeed you do belong here... and you've got the real Orange Monster!I now know I truly belong here! View attachment 4824852
Thank you!! My Orange Monster is actually an Islander (basically a mod version of the Orange Monster). I wish I had the actual Orange Monster though! 😀Indeed you do belong here... and you've got the real Orange Monster!
I lost track, which one is the “real” Orange Monster?😇Indeed you do belong here... and you've got the real Orange Monster!
Orient were my first real watch, I can't believe my parents bought me one in year 3 at school. Older Seikos are great but since they moved production to China they have QC issues (dials not aligning with hands, low power reserve, +40 to -15 sec accuracy !!), for a Seiko 5 money you get a Orient Star that nothing can touch it in this price range. All produced and assembled in their factory in Japan. Great quality.Great story, Mike!
Orient watches are interesting to me having never run across that particular brand. They look very nice!🙂
Second one from left to right. 😀I lost track, which one is the “real” Orange Monster?😇
Perfect match!👍👍👍Orient were my first real watch, I can't believe my parents bought me one in year 3 at school. But as I said, I like the older Seikos and if you adjust them are very accurate. And well build.

Time for me to get up to speed…Second one from left to right. 😀
The Green Monster is amazing. I really want it. Sadly, limited to under 2000 made. So probably too expensive now.Time for me to get up to speed…
