Surprisingly nobody mentioned Robin Williams' film One Hour Photo with the phrase "Leica Minilux. that is a very nice camera" while Connie Nielsen hands him the camera.

In the original Lolita I remember the Peter Sellers character having a Leica on a neck strap. Correct me if I'm wrong.
In 1962 Kubrick's Lolita Peter Seller uses black Nikon F eye level prism during the spectacle scene. He even orders somebody to buy a pack of Kodak Tri-X.
In motel scene (at the reception) Contax IIa is seen hanging from his neck.

Nick Nolte uses Nikon F's and an M2? in "Under fire".

X-Men: Days of Future Past: One of a pack of journalists was using a Kiev (4a?) RF.
Found the screenshot. So it's a KIEV 4 with J-12 + flash
Is it common for photo-journalists to not to use the matching viewfinder?

Just saw the trailer for "Kong, Skull Island" and it has Brie Larson running around with an M3. The set dressers added an MR meter and a goggled Summicron (maybe a Summaron if someone gets a better look).

Just noticed that in the film "Lavender", the lead actress was seen using a Pentax 67
Not sure how stable it can be holding the 67 like that though!

Nikon SP or S3 in Batman vs. Superman. Which is amazingly anachronistic even in that alternative timeline.
8mm Nikkor fisheye as the HAL9000 in 2001. Plus some kind of crazy future camera during the press conference scene.
Nikon Photomic in Three Days of the Condor.

Saw the trailer of the new King Kong movie on TV.
A woman behind one of the lead characters carries a Leica M3 with a goggled Summaron 35mm 3.5 on it.

I was just wondering in how many of the films in which we see 'thorugh the viewfinder' of the camera the character is using, is said viewfinder actually shown accurately?

Looked more like a Summaron to me, based on a still I saw in the newspaper. I was thinking, if she's supposed to be a pro photog, would any self-respecting pro have a meter attached to that camera?
Just watched "Loving" (highly recommended) and the Michael Shannon character, who's a Life photographer, has a plain prism Nikon F. He takes various informal shots of the family, including one of the couple cuddled watching TV together. (This was a re-creation of an actual photo that appeared in the magazine.) All I can think is that they must have been really engrossed in "Andy Griffith" since trying to take a surreptitious shot with a F is a bit of a trick. Must have timed it to coincide with the laugh track!

Julia Roberts and her M6 with motor drive shooting Natalie Portman in 'Closer'. Two babes, no, make that three babes with the Leica.
