Well,

The trailer (haven't seen the movie) shows the FM2 black body clearly. There is also an M3 and a chrome body Nikkormat. Which one is it, an FTn?

Was the M3 the model with the glass or metal film pressure plate ... did it have the preview lever?

Oh yes, and was there any sign of balsam separation in the finder?

Hey ... we need to know these things!

Apart from which we can't seem to figure out what sort of Leica Seal is using at the moment! :D

Has someone seen this movie who can offer us some sort of review ... aside from describing the camera gear I mean! :)

Man, that's not what the thread is about.
The thread is about what cameras are in the movie.
If you want a review, google it.
I know you don't mean any harm, but it comes across as patronizing.
In fact, you've hijacked a few of my threads with some such remarks.

I know the OP's question might seem somewhat trite, and an easy target for sharp little quips, but it's not like your serious camera questions are ending conflict in Liberia.

Importance is relative.

Bottom line--it ain't funny, it looks more like an ego-stroke than anything else, it goes off-topic, and it's irritating.

I don't believe there was ever any other intent than humour ... I didn't realise it was such a serious issue, sorry

I read the book in college. I saw the movie about a week ago. Amazon Video On Demand had it up. They still might.

The movie was good. But they took a lot of creative liberty with the story and omitted a lot.

in a word, my whole damn closet--at one time or another. quoting from memory: F2A w/MD-2, F3 w/MD-4, F4S, a couple of FM2s (one w/MD-12, one with a shot-off rewind knob), no-lever M3, 'mat FTn... 180/2.8 and 20/2.8 featured prominently, too

ashamed to look like a geek now  (at least i didn't write down the serial numbers)

Bang Bang Club - It's basically another in a long line of movies about Apartheid era South Africa as seen threw some white guys eyes.

No one mentioned the opening camera....4x5 (speed graphic or horsemen maybe?) with a 90mm 1:8.0 Super Angulon Schneider-Kreuznach on 'er...

Ah, the days....when we had metal cameras!

I remember going camping once...I forgot to bring the camp hammer...no worries, I had my "reasonable substitute" with me - my Konica T3 !!

My apologies ... I didn't realise you felt thay way!

Ok ... back to items of interest in movies! :)

I had a friend years ago when the Bonnie and Clyde movie came out who was into early American cars. I remember sitting in the theatre with him during the movie while he took note of which cars had an incorrect door handle for that particular model and so on. In one scene where a car rolled over he was even able to tell me that the exhaust system wasn't correct! :)
