Has anyone bought gears from Camtec Photo in Montreal? I am considering buying a M8, and would like to hear your experience with this shop.

There are two Camtec in Old Montreal, both on Notre-Dame. One is near McGill st. and the other one near St-Laurent. The staff at the St-Laurent/Notre-Dame one is a bit more attentive, and they seem to have more stuff in store. I didn't buy anything from them, but they let me fondle both an M8 and an MP last time I was there. They also have Cosina Voigtlander stuff, so it was nice to compare an R2A with an MP. Night and day, indeed!
If you want to buy new Leica in Montréal, they're pretty much the only game in town. Caméra Simons sells used Leica gear, but they seem to cater to a market that is not me because I never had much else but scornful looks over yonder.
