Ooops. Processed 1/2 dozen rolls of 135 Trix 400 in XTol last night.
Looking at the negative strips, it appears they received insufficient fixing (using Kodafix). There is a haze running along the center of the strip fading to regular clear out at the edges.
Probably have run 15 or so 36 exposure rolls using the same liter of fixer (assuming it is exhausted, I check clear time and double, but didn't do that last night, just added 20% to the fix time I used for last batch).
Can I mix up some fresh fixer, put these strips back on the stainless reels, and finish off the fixing, even though they are already dry?
Should I soak with water first before re-fixing?
Thanks for any advice!
