Well, my R-D1 just arrived, bought from a member in CA. It gets dark here early these days but I just had to play with it.
I have to say, the three things I like best about it thus far are:
1. I can use it with the LCD flipped closed, and without going into the menu once for the usual adjustments. You forget that it is digital. 🙂
2. The VF is big and bright. That's what I hate most with DSLR's - tunnel vision.
3. It is a rangefinder. I can handhold it as steadily as my other cameras.
So far, everything looks good!
