Officially requesting entry, good folks!
I've just received my Bessa R body and 35/2.5 Color Skopar from Rich at Photo Village. I had some fun with an old Kodak Signet 40, and decided to add a modern RF to my gear. First impressions are REALLY favorable, and I think that this reasonably-priced camera is gonna be just right. Access to all those reasonably-priced screw-mount lenses, mechanical shutter in case of battery failure, nice VF and metering...what else could I ask for in an easy-to-carry package. I'll soon buy a 50 and a 75, and have a "fun" kit...not to disparage my DSLR and bag-o-lenses (the 70-200L Canon is Sweeeet!), but being able to grab the small bag with EVERYTHING in it will be a pleasant alternative.
I'll have to sharpen up my film knowledge again, but that's part of the fun!
