i've use OM4ti with LR44 a years,
so it eat up my batteries!
but SR44 is hard to find in my country
can i use cr1/3n with OM4ti instead?

You'll get the same problem as you have using LR44, but if anything, it will be worse - the batteries do not last long. Best to find SR44, or same size silver oxide batteries. The silver oxide is important!

How many is enough?
Olympus does not reccommend any battery other than the silver oxides. The others lose just enough voltage to still test "GOOD" with a battery tester, but will cause problems with the camera.

To save battery life on the OMs that "eat" them (OM2, OM2sp, OM4)
you must turn the shutter speed ring to the "manual" 1/60 setting, (or B) when not in use.
