Can the Fuji x100s compare to a film Leica? Camera advice needed.

What makes you say that? I just took a test shot at 1/4000s at f/2 without a problem.

You can turn the dial to 1/4k but if the aperture is f/2 it will be shooting at 1/1k anyways. It's just the design of the leaf shutter. Hence the built in ND filter.

Well, I can take pictures at 1/4000s just fine, and they're 2 stops underexposed compared to 1/1000s.

...Imagine taking an M body with a Game Boy screen installed. Glue 8-10 Tic-Tac breath mints on the back, along with a thumb spinner toy from a McDonalds Happy Meal. That's the user interface. Don't ask me about the logic of the menus, I didn't see any. ...Sorry if you hold Fuji stock, I know I just knocked 20% off the share price lol.

This is the funniest thing I've read in ages: made me laugh on a dull, miserable day. Cheers, Frank! :D

Having never handled the Fuji x100s, I'm now gonna have to find out if this is true! :)
